The Matchplay Company was born on the historic links of Great Britain, where traditions and timeless quality run deep. A century ago, the golf sock was an integral part of the game and The Matchplay Company champions its return to the fore. With the demise of the humble tie for all but the most formal of occasions, our aim is to bring a Club’s colours to life through socks and other thoughtful accessories so that members, guests and visitors can ‘show their colours’ on and off the course.

The Matchplay Company is a small, family-run business owned by Chris Stott - an often wayward member of Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell) and Royal Dornoch. Chris has always favoured the Matchplay format; the true form of the game, and has a (unhealthy) passion for classical golfing attire coupled with a sense of fun.
